Daily Feeding Guide
AvoDerm puppy is pressure cooked to ensure your puppy receives optimum nutrition from the highest quality ingredients. AvoDerm Puppy is formulated to be complete and balanced, delivering 100% of the Breeder's Choice Canine Nutrient Requirements (CNR) for vitamins, minerals and other essential ingredients for all stages of your dog's life.

Allow your puppy to free feed until fully weaned (approximately six to eight weeks). After weaning, your puppy can be fed AvoDerm Puppy moistened or dry. Develop a regular feeding schedule starting with 3 small meals a day for younger puppies. As your puppy gets a little older, gradually reduce the feeding to twice a day. As your puppy reaches 1 year, he may not eat as much and this is normal. Start to reduce the amount fed to ensure proper weight maintenance to prevent overeating.

Switching Foods/Reproduction
When switching your puppy to AvoDerm Puppy from another dog food, please allow enough time for this transition to take place. Each day feed more AvoDerm Puppy and less of the previous food, until you are feeding AvoDerm Puppy exclusively. This gradual transition should take 7 to 10 days.

AvoDerm Puppy provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Consumption may vary during gestation, so allow your dog to eat enough to maintain good body condition during this stressful period. She may consume twice as much or more during the lactation period.
